Darlene Hill
Founder & CEO
Darlene was born and raised on the beautiful island of St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree with a Concentration in Management from the University of the Virgin Islands. Darlene is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM), HR Tampa, a Lifetime Member of the National Association of African-Americans in Human Resources (NAAAHR), and Past President of NAAAHR Tampa Bay Chapter (2019). She also serves on the Board of Cornerstone Collaborative Florida, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, and is a former Advisory Board Member and keynote speaker for Florida Career College, Tampa Campus.
Darlene E. Hill, CEO, is a focused and results-driven HR professional whose career expands over 15 years. She is a Certified Predictive Index Practitioner and a DDI Targeted Selection Interviewer and Coach. Darlene firmly believes that the primary function of Human Resources is to bring two very important groups of people together - managers, and employees and to help foster a productive and positive work environment for all staff. Darlene's introduction to HR started with payroll and benefits and she quickly gained experience and knowledge in other areas under the HR umbrella. She has held various titles ranging from HR Assistant to Director of Human Resources. Darlene has vast experience with training and coaching management teams and staff; employee relations; recruiting, onboarding, and offboarding of employees; creating employee handbooks, policies, and job descriptions; compliance and employee file audits; and navigating HRIS systems. She has worked in several industries including construction, banking, healthcare, and non-profit. Darlene has direct experience working with start-ups and family-owned businesses to mid-and large-sized organizations with staff ranging anywhere from 50 employees to over 1,000. She also has experience supporting multi-state companies as well.
